“I am Ruchi Gala residing in Mumbai, India. I am in my final year of middle school, in my third year at Oberoi International School. I was born in Bahrain, then lived for a few years in Singapore and eventually moved to Mumbai. In the past few years I have been among the top 50 at the International Spell Bee Competition. I participated in the National Science Olympiad and the International English Olympiad where I procured silver medals and are the International Math Olympiad I received a bronze medal. I then moved to Oberoi International School. In the year 2014- 2015 I got Student of the Year award for 8 out of 10 subjects and an award for Beyond Academics and Social Responsibility. I have taken an initiative to create awareness about Organ Donation and I am a proud organ donor myself. Last year, I participated in the District level Championship for T.T and Shot put. I won a few Inter-school T.T championships as well. I am a grade 3 trinity certified guitarist and have written and composed a song along with my classmate(Kriti Andhare). I am the author to an iBook named “What’s inside the human body?” For this website I would like to give a special note of thanks to my mentor Ms. Smita Nair, who has supported me through this journey and made this website a possibility.
